Mission and Purpose
Mission
The core mission of the International Humanities Center (IHCenter.org) is to foster those efforts that are devoted to a vision of ecological and humanitarian stewardship that benefits all of creation. IHCenter seeks to reverse the current situation of disconnection – which has led to so much misery for all lifeforms on the planet – by assisting projects that are focused on creating a civilization centered upon peace, trust and natural harmony.

Additional Comments
IHCenter obtained our 501(c)(3) ruling in 1998. In those early years, we launched and sponsored a group of short-term regional projects to assist our local community. Beginning in August of 2003, in recognition of the need to build active coalitions for change and the opportunity to facilitate emerging projects of great innovation and importance, we expanded to share the benefits of fiscal sponsorship with projects that are directly aligned with our mission and goals. We are most certainly young. Nevertheless, we are earnestly dedicated to leaving our progeny a kinder, cleaner world.

Balance
Sheet: Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2007
Notes
The
balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization
at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should
generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot long survive,
but the types of assets and liabilities also must be considered.
For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables,
securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities
(payables, deferred revenue, current year loan and note payments).
Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other
hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed
its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
